Is the planet Earth going towards an end or are we just overreacting about the climate change? This is a tricky question with no direct answer. I believe that something has to be done, but the decisions on how we are going to correct the state of our planet has to be made by the leaders of the world.
The only place that I personally have seen some results (and very drastic results) of the climate change is in one of the glaciers in Norway. Juvas, a glacier in Norway has suffered great damage from the heating of the world. Therefore I don't believe that all the talk of the climate change is just some hoax.
I think it's hard to do big changes as an individual, and therefore you need more environmental laws, and commissions for all the countries, to prevent our planet from huge disasters that may be an outcome if we don't react. That is if no one finds a panacea for these problems.
It is hard to anticipate how huge our problems really are in the present situation, but I sure wish for our future generations to have a nice and healthy growth as we had, and not a spoiled and gloomy one caused by us. The only thing we can do is to either act against or support the government to take the right decisions in the big environmental meetings in the world.

You're concerned and mention a glacier as an example. What you have to remember is that the ice has been melting since the ice age. I leave you with two questions.
SvaraRaderaHas it been melting a lot faster the last 100 to 200 years? Which is the point in time when the industrial revolution started.
Could it in fact be part of the natural cycle that many scientists hold as their theory?

Answers to your questions Marcus.
SvaraRaderaFirst question:
Yes, it is proven by scientists that the smaller glaciers' has gone through a drastic change since the point in time when the industrial revolution started. In fact, my example with Juvas is a perfect example where you actually can see huge changes on the glacier if you just go 5-10 years back in time and until now.
Second question:
It is a mix of a natural cycle and the climat changes because it's not a linear change, in fact it's an exponential change of nature. Where global heating has the biggest contribution to the changes.

I agree that we need to get all countries to contribute to a better environment. Laws, studies about the environment aso.
SvaraRaderaI agree with you, I also think it’s a tricky question that has a lot different aspects. To put more pressure on the governments around the globe, to take the climate problem more serious is a good start.
SvaraRaderaBtw I like the picture that you have included in the text.
Cheers/Karl
I don’t agree that the decision on how we are going to correct the state of our planet is only based o the decision of the world’s leader. People can all contribute to make a big change. I do agree with you that it is a tricky question with no direct answers.
